Nicholas and Michael

Nicholas and Michael joined forces in 1985 opening one of the first Metro West Spas. Michael a stylist and owner of Michaels Hair Loft, Nicholas a Stylist and owner of Marble House Coiffeurs shared the same business practices and strong family values. They opened Nicholas Michaels Spa offering cutting edge salon and spa services under one roof.

Since then, Nicholas and Michael have been recognized as leaders in their industry. Through the years they would travel to train with some of the best in the industry, Vidal Sassoon of London, Jingles of New York City, Jacque Dessance of Paris.

Nicholas & Michael believe that giving back is not just an act of kindness, they believe it’s part of living full life. Hosting their very first Benefit fashion show to raise money for the friends of the retarded held on the grounds of their 18th century Northborough landmark property.

In 2008 they learned of a night time fire that closed their business for one year, while renovating their building they opened at a temporary location. In appreciation for saving their building they hosted a benefit Cut-Athon donating the proceeds to Northborough Fire Department and Northborough Police Departments.

It was in 2009 when they received a call from John Freda celebrity hairstylist asking them if they would consider helping bring awareness to the work being done at Boson Children's hospital. Without a question they said yes. They served as Committee members and continue to be one of the top fundraisers in the industry. Boston Children's Hospital HAIRraising is a charitable initiative that brings the salon industry together to help sick children get well.
