 Now in its 13th year! HAIRraising is a one day cut-a-thon event, with hundreds of salons participating, to raise money and awareness for Boston Children's Hospital and it's new state-of-the-art Heart Center. Thanks to the big-hearted salons and employees, clients and friends who selflessly give their time to give hope to others. 

 Boston Children’s Hospital top ranked team offers the most advanced medical and surgical treatments for the full spectrum of cardiac disease and disorders including the rarest and most complex congenital heart defects. And despite treating the most serious conditions, the Heart Center is known for having some of the best success rates in the world, with surgical survival rates approaching 99 percent.  We are blessed that the children in our lives are well for that we are Grateful.  We believe that giving back is not just an act of kindness...
