For more than 40 years, Nicholas and Michael have been blessed to be in an industry that has allowed them to do what they loved most. Offering their guests, the most up to date salon and spa services in the Metro West area. With shared love for the industry, strong family values, and work philosophies, they decided to merge salons within the refurbished 18th Century Northborough landmark property at 422 West Main St. With education and training being of the upmost importance, they would take team members around the country to educational events that allowed them to offer new and cutting-edge services to their guests.
Supporting the community around them was also important! After they experienced their own 5-alarm fire, they gave back to the Northborough Police and Fire, who saved their business. Without missing a beat, Nicholas and Michael hosted a two-day cut-athon fund raiser that allowed them and their Spa familv the ability to present the Fire and Police Department with two large checks in appreciation for saving their building The donation was used to purchase defibrillators for all the police cars.
The donating didn't stop there. Nicholas Michaels Spa is a top fundraising Salon/Spa facility for the annual HAIRraising charitable initiative that brings the salon and spa industry together with bringing awareness to the work being done at Boston Children's Hospital.
Nicholas & Michael had this to say to their beloved clients:
It's harder to walk away from the relationships that we have built than it is to walk away from the business. What makes it easy to walk away is knowing that we are leaving it in the hands of someone who we love and respect. Tecia Coelho will bring Nicholas Michaels Spa to even greater level with the support of the team and loyal guests, family and friends. We are grateful to give her the opportunity that was once given to us.
Thank you for supporting our dream! Nicholas and Michael
I have worked at the spa for seven years; I left the Spa for three years to further my education that has allowed me to offer two new services to Nicholas Michaels Spa service menu to include Micro needling and eye lash extensions. When I was away for the three years, I learned that wherever you go you are just a number. No other place had the family connection that Nicholas and Michael offered.
Here at Nicholas Michaels Spa, you are considered family the second you start. I was so happy that the door was open for me when I returned. I can’t thank Nicholas and Michael enough for what they have done for me.
I came to this country not knowing anyone or anything but know I am fortunate enough to be considered part of Nicholas Michaels Spa family and also a beautiful connection with Nicholas Michaels Spa clients. There are not enough words to express how grateful for the opportunity that has ben given to me.
It was in March of 2020 that I was out of work for personal reasons, I am thankful for the great care i had and the outcome. If someone told me that I would be leaving, I would have not believed it. I have lived a life with no regrets; opening my first salon at the age of 20 and have worked every day since. Nicholas and I have managed to employee many good people, I am forever grateful for the love that my Spa family has shown me, I will cherish these relationships forever.
It was in my absence I saw even clearer one of our employees who we know and love, take charge in a way that was both welcoming and effective. This said employee is Tecia, who we know and love.
During the Covid-19 shutdown there was a rumor going around that Tecia was buying Nicholas Michaels Spa. What was not yet a thought, was a rumor that became a reality. We welcome a new generation, We welcome Tecia operations manager and business partner. I hope to see you when I am scheduled for my spa services.
